Based out of Austin, TX, Coleman Jennings and the Roaddogs’ formation began during Coleman’s sophomore year of college. Named after his father’s and grandfather’s biker group, the alt-country band’s unique mixture of southern rock, folk, and country helped create their forthcoming debut EP Know No Leash.
Coleman wrote, composed, and produced every song, including two previous singles “Sunshine” and “Caroline” and most recently “Head Spinnin’,” which was released on December 14.
The melodic tune features Coleman’s strong vocals, which compliment the band’s background harmonies. “Head Spinnin’” stems from a writing session long ago and its meaning is left to the imagination of the listener, so that the listener can draw their own reflections of their lives from the song. Coleman’s writing ability and the simple production of the tune allows one to take away what’s important to them.
“Sunshine,” “Caroline” and “Head Spinnin’” are featured on the band’s debut five-track EP, Know No Leash, set for release Friday, January 27, 2023.
Download/stream “Head Spinnin'” on Spotify and Apple Music.
