Earning spots on lists such as Country Living Magazine’s “Artists to Watch in 2017” and Billboard Magazine’s “Artists to Watch” in 2014 is no easy task, especially if you are still a college student. But soon-to-be Belmont grad Kaylee Rutland is taking it all in stride. With her mentor and GRAMMY nominee Jamie O’ Neal coaching her every step of the way and her single, “Pick Me Up” receiving substantial airplay on Radio Disney Country and Spotify, Kaylee shows no signs of slowing down. She did however take some time out of her ambitious schedule to talk to Lindsey at The Country Note about growing up in Texas, her musical influences, and those surreal fan moments.
