After the poster was made I took a photo of it and tagged Cole – within like a minute later he liked the photo! So I then asked him if I could give him the photo during “Let Me See Ya Girl.” I didn’t get a response so I really didn’t think about it the rest of the night.
Next day I took the poster to the meet and greet and he signed it.
So when Cole started singing “Let Me See Ya Girl,” my friends told me to raise up the poster and try to get Cole’s attention but I didn’t know if he was going to see it since we were so close to the speakers.
After the song was over, Cole was mentioning to come over – I did and gave him the poster. The look on his face was the same as it was when he saw the poster in the m&g: with a huge smile on his face. He gave me the poster back and I almost started crying because I couldn’t believe that had just happened. Probably one of the coolest moments of my life!
I’ve always seen that man smile no matter what. He’s happy to see each and every one of his fans. And I know how goofy that poster was that I made last year that I took it to Billy Bob’s Texas after “Let Me See Ya Girl” hit #1. Did I even think he would actually take it from me and raise it in the air for every one to see that night? Nope! But he did. And I will be ever so grateful. And after that night I realized that I will probably be a Cole Swindell fan for many more years to come!
