Special Guests Midland and Runaway June to Join “CMT On Tour Presents Jon Pardi’s Lucky Tonight Tour”
NASHVILLE —#Pardianimals are head over boots with news that Jon Pardi will headline CMT’s 16th annual “CMT On Tour,” as revealed last week via Facebook Live. Officially titled “CMT On Tour Presents Jon Pardi’s Lucky Tonight Tour,” Pardi invited special guests and friends Midland and Runaway June to also join the bill for the boot-laden, hats-welcome tour this fall.
Pardi’s sophomore album, California Sunrise, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and includes his very first No. 1 single, the Platinum-selling “Head Over Boots,” along with the three-week No. 1 smash “Dirt on My Boots,” and Pardi’s current radio single, “Heartache on the Dance Floor.” This marks the third headlining tour for Pardi, who is quickly becoming a household name for country music lovers. Pardi is the reigning ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year, and he is nominated in the Breakthrough and the coveted Video of the Year categories at the upcoming 2017 CMT Music Awards.
“To have Midland and Runaway June on the road with me this fall for the Lucky Tonight Tour, along with CMT, is awesome,” shares an enthusiastic Pardi. “When artists that are your friends join you on the road, a tour becomes really special. Everyone is in for a good time!”
Pardi continues to add to his impressive resume by touring with country music superstar Dierks Bentley this summer. The California native has also toured with country music icons including Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Alan Jackson.
“CMT on Tour” plans to bring Pardi’s distinct classic country sound to venues across the United States throughout its multi-city run. Specific tour markets and dates will be announced at a later date. For more information as it becomes available, visit CMTonTour.CMT.com and follow #CMTonTour on social platforms.
