NASHVILLE, TN – The Academy of Country Music® revealed today the full list of Radio Award winners for the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards™, in advance of the main show, taking place Monday, March 7, 2022, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The two-hour show will stream live without commercial interruption on Prime Video in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, marking the first time a major awards show has livestreamed exclusively.
Winners announced include two first-time On-Air Personality national honorees, Jerry Broadway, Tim Wall, Mitch English and Becca Walls of The Bud And Broadway Show for National Daily On-Air Personality of the Year, and Bryan “B-Dub” Washington of B-Dub Radio for National Weekly On-Air Personality of the Year. Additionally, KYGO-FM in Denver, CO received two awards, for Major Market Radio Station of the Year and Major Market On-Air Personality of the Year with Tracy Dixon. This is the first time KYGO-FM has won Major Market Radio Station of the Year, the second time KYGO-FM has won for Major Market On-Air Personality of the Year, and Tracy Dixon’s first ACM Award win. The special announcement was revealed on the Academy of Country Music’s® official social media pages, with a recognition of this year’s winners to come in the March 7 Las Vegas show.
Additional winners include Jim Denny, Deborah Honeycutt and Kevin Freeman of Jim, Deb, and Kevin in the Morning on WFMS-FM in Indianapolis, IN; Melissa “Mo” Wagner and Greg “StyckMan” Owens of Mo & StyckMan on WUSY-FM in Chattanooga, TN; and Liz DelGrosso and Scotty Cox of Liz and Scotty in the Morning on KCLR-FM in Columbia, MO for Large Market, Medium Market, and Small Market On-Air Personality of the Year, respectively. WUBE-FM in Cincinnati, OH received an award for Large Market Radio Station of the Year and WHKO-FM in Dayton, OH received an award for Medium Market Radio Station of the Year and WXBQ-FM in Bristol, VA received an award for Small Market Radio Station of the Year.
This is the third overall win for Jim Denny, Deborah Honeycutt, and Kevin Freeman, and their second win as a show for Large Market On-Air Personality of the Year for Jim, Deb, and Kevin in the Morning. Additionally, this is the third win for WUBE-FM for Large Market Radio Station of the Year. WHKO-FM and WXBQ-FM each received their first wins for Medium Market Radio Station of the Year and Small Market Radio Station of the Year, respectively. Shows receiving their first On-Air Personality Awards include Mo & StyckMan and Liz and Scotty in the Morning.
