Following Exclusive Premiere with Taste of Country (3/3)
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country music artist and highly-sought after songwriter Adam Sanders released today a touching single on healing after loss with “Good Day to Fly.” The “undeniably personal and vulnerable” tune (Taste of Country) penned by Sanders, Blake Bollinger and Jordan Rowe was written after Sanders lost his beloved grandfather and began reflecting on how beautiful the day was for such great sadness. Taste of Country premiered the single (3/3) writing “the grief and emotion of the song are only enhanced by the soaring instrumentation featuring piano, steel guitar and strong percussion.” Listen to “Good Day to Fly” HERE.
“‘A Good Day To Fly’ is a special song to me because it was inspired by a conversation my dad and uncle had the day my Grandpa passed away last February,” explains Sanders. “The lyrics have that tear in your eye, but smile on your face, kind of feel to me and I hope it’s something fans can relate to and helps them remember and honor the people they have lost in their lives.”
Lauded as an artist who is “Real. Authentic. Like a guy who grew up IN real country music and not just around it” (American Songwriter), Sanders music continues to resonate with listeners and fans alike, with his last independently released project What If I’m Right recently surpassing 30 million streams and counting.
Initially known for penning chart-topping hits including Dustin Lynch’s “Hell Of A Night” and Cole Swindell’s “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey,” Sanders co-wrote all twelve tracks across his last album What If I’m Right, and he continues to build on the momentum of his successfully-rising, independent career, with an unstoppable and unwavering passion, sharing “It’s been a dream of mine to be an artist ever since I was young, and I never lost passion for that.” Sanders made the move to Nashville in 2009. Marking milestones along the way, he earned his reputation as an artist to watch, one step at a time, eventually amassing over 150 million streams, over 70,000 singles sold and landing on Billboard’s Top 40 Country Albums chart.
As “one of Music Row’s hottest young songwriters” (American Songwriter), the Lake City, FL native is currently signed to a co-publishing deal with Round Hill Music Nashville. What If I’m Right follows his previously released Adam Sanders (Live), his “infectious tune (Billboard),” “Ruled The World,” “the mid-tempo, retro-cool song (Taste of Country),” “Make Em Wanna Change,” and the “catchiest of them all (Pop Culture),” “Drink Drank Drunk.” With overwhelming support from the artist and songwriter community, Sanders’ music video for “Ruled The World” featured seven singer-songwriters and a music video starring Tracy Lawrence, Aaron Tippin, Marty Raybon and Mike McGuire.
