Adam Wakefield Signs With Nashville Music Media

Firm to Take Over Publicity for “The Voice” Season 10 Runner-Up

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Publicity, marketing and digital media firm Nashville Music Media (NMM) has signed “The Voice” season 10 runner-up Adam Wakefield on for publicity services.Established in 2010, NMM is a Nashville-based boutique firm specializing in publicity, marketing and digital media. Other clients include Parker McKay, Renn, Macy Martin and more.

Wakefield was first introduced to the public after landing an audition for the popular NBC show. After being chosen for Blake Shelton’s team, he took his career on the show to the very end, finishing second after sharing the stage with both Alison Krauss and Shelton in the two-part finale.

“Lonesome Broken and Blue” hit No. 1 on the iTunes Top 100 songs chart and boasted the season’s top debut on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, entering at No. 73. The single, written by Wakefield, also debuted as his highest-charting (No. 14) of nine entries on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs.

Aside from “The Voice”, Wakefield has shared the stage as a musician with artists Chris Cagle, Keith Anderson, and more and was invited to make his debut on the famed Ryman Auditorium stage in Nashville, TN at Marty Stuart’s Annual Late Night Jam during CMA Fest in June 2016.
