Iowa native Adam Whitehead debuted on Billboard this past week for the chart week ending September 25. Charting in the Top 100 Current Album Sales Chart (#45) along with a #31 position on Billboard’s Trending Artists chart, respectively. Traveling the Midwest with stops in his home state of Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kentucky and Tennessee, Adam has continued to tour with a radio campaign of ‘The Way Whitley Done It’, supported by legendary promoter, Regina Raleigh.
“I got my start in southern Iowa from award winning programmer, Steve Shettler, at KBOE. He played a song I had worked hard on, my wife recorded me hearing it on the radio for the first time and it started going viral on TikTok of all places. After that, Doris Day, Jonathan Knight, Brandon Lewis and Amanda McGuire from KXIA were just as supportive.” Whitehead said.
Currently, the title track is gaining traction on Nashville’s Music Row Country Breakout Chart as the lead single. The second radio single is set to release this coming spring 2022.
