Nashville, Tenn. — Legendary Country Music Hall of Fame group ALABAMA and country singer John Anderson are mourning the loss of Grand Ole Opry member Joe Diffie. The ’90s country hitmaker passed away yesterday, March 29, from complications of COVID-19. Today, ALABAMA’s Teddy Gentry and Anderson released the following statements:
“Joe was much more than a great country singer. He was a great song guy as well. He also knew how to put on a show. I will miss you, my friend.”
