COUNTRY RISER IS NAMED THE NEWEST CELEBRITY AMBASSADOR
FOR THE RYAN SEACREST FOUNDATION
NASHVILLE, TENN. — With her heart pounding like waves on the Santa Monica Pier, Pandora’s 2021 Country Artist to Watch Alana Springsteen is swept up in the magic and mystery of a West Coast romance in summertime stunner, “California,” available now at all streaming platforms and digital retailers.

“Maybe it’s us or maybe I’m just / Falling in love with California,” Springsteen muses with a gold rush of conflicted emotions. Co-written and co-produced by the 20-year-old on-the-rise talent, who also contributes the ringing acoustic guitar, “California” credits Jerry Flowers (Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood) and Jared Keim (Rascal Flatts, Restless Road) as both her co-writers and co-producers. The electro-roots knockout offers a breathtaking view of in-the-moment passion on the PCH – but is she captivated by the state of her heart, or just the state itself?
“Sometimes you get so beautifully lost in a moment that the lines around love get blurry,” Springsteen shares. “Is it the person? Is it the place? Or is it the way everything around you collides in the most beautiful way for a minute? When I was recording this song and shooting this video, I hoped it would take people back to whatever that moment was for them.”
Premiered exclusively with ET Online this morning (5/14), the official music video for “California” depicts the dreamy, sun-kissed soul of the song, as filmed along the picturesque coast. “‘California’ is just as much about the connection between two people as it is the connection between a person and a place,” Springsteen revealed to ET Online. “In order to capture the essence of this song, we knew we had to physically be there.”

This week, Springsteen was named as the Ryan Seacrest Foundation’s newest Celebrity Ambassador, joining other current Celebrity Ambassadors for the non-profit including Jordan Davis, Charlie Puth, and Sabrina Carpenter. Celebrity Ambassadors use their talent and influence to help further the foundation’s mission and truly make an impact in the lives of children in hospitals across the country.
“Alana Springsteen is a name you’ll want to know in country music,” hails PEOPLE, as she’s slated to continue releasing new music after dropping her recent got-to-have-you anthem, “Trying Not To (feat. Roman Alexander).” Further catching critics’ attention, The Virginian-Pilot applauds her “deft hand at applying a musical twist to everyday occurrences,” while Rolling Stone praises, “She writes with beyond-her-years poise, mixing the lovestruck giddiness of a teenager with the hooks of a pro.”
