NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Saddle Up Records readies Alexis Wilkins’ debut EP Grit, featuring the title track ode to the venerable Silverbelly Stetson single “Heaven in a Stetson.” In partnership with Stetson, Wilkins will offer the upcoming focus track as an Insta Grat on all DSPs for those who pre-save the April 21st Grit EP. Arkansas-bred and Nashville country artist, Alexis Wilkins, is also nominated for the Arkansas Country Music Awards to be handed out in June. Nods include “Female Vocalist of the Year,” and “Song of the Year.” Grit features many of today’s key musicians, and is produced by one of today’s hottest new producers Mitchell Furr.

Wilkins stays true to her genuine self as she makes music with her unapologetic storytelling and traditional sound. She is keeping the legacy of classic country alive with her upcoming EP and the success of her most recent single, and the title track, “Grit”. Her music video for “Grit” earned over 100k views, as well as 4 million separate impressions for her single “Stand,” which sat inside the Top-10 on the iTunes sales chart in November 2022.
