NASHVILLE, Tenn – Local country/pop musician Allie Keck has announced the next round of Nashville appearances to promote her newest single “Kiss and Tell,” which debuted in November. “I had just moved to Nashville with no job and no furniture in the house,” Keck says about the song. “After being stood up by a guy I really liked for the second time, I wrote the song in maybe 10 minutes. It was basically about me being over this ‘hard to get thing’ this guy was pulling.”
Allie made her way to Nashville, by way of Neoga, Illinois, where she was born and raised with her sisters. Her strong love for music and singing lead to her first visit to Nashville at the age of 15, where she recalls visiting Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Restaurant in Downtown. After this family trip, she warned her parents for six years that she would eventually call Music City her home.
She partnered with local personality Christopher Anthony to host a bi-weekly podcast called Topher & Al. The podcast is geared towards locals and transplants who share a common love for Nashville. The show connects with Nashvillians on a personal level through music, current events and humor. Allie and Topher met through work, and immediately became close friends. Their love for country music and the industry bonds them, and they are so excited to share their bond, their thoughts, and their opinions with the world.
Current episodes of Topher & Al can be heard on iTunes.
