JANNAKOS WILL CELEBRATE THE RELEASE WITH A LIVESTREAM

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Emerging singer-songwriter Andrew Jannakos released highly anticipated new song, “Wine Country,” today. Listen here.
“‘I wrote ‘Wine Country’ with Jason Afable, Eric Mallon and Alex Pennington Smith at a Chattanooga writer’s retreat. We were the last ones there on the final day and decided to write one more song,” said Jannakos. “It’s about getting off that shift on a Friday and throwing on a movie, a fire, some wine country, and just letting the music take you.”
Jannakos will celebrate the release of “Wine Country” with a livestream on his Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts tonight at 6 p.m. CT. He will perform the new song among others, answer fan questions, and take song requests via the comment section.
“Wine Country” was introduced to fans in the same way as his current single at Country Radio, “Gone Too Soon.” Both tracks were initially previewed on TikTok and quickly captivated the attention of fans, racking up millions of views and requests to commercially release the song. To date, “Gone Too Soon” has amassed over 43 million on-demand streams. Upon its official release, the 2021 Artist to Watch (Sounds Like Nashville, Country Sway) earned a #1 debut on Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart, while the track landed at #12 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and within the Hot 100. “Gone Too Soon” was also recently featured in a TikTok post from “The Late Late Show,” where James Corden did a duet with Jannakos’s original post of the song on the platform, view here.
The Flowery Branch, Georgia native grew up in a small-town neighborhood where barbecue parties and backyard soccer games were everyday events. Today, that sense of community translates to his nearly one million followers across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, and continues to grow stronger with every viral post.
