Cochran Continues to Donate Proceeds of the Purchase Downloads
of “Fight Like A Girl” to Various Charities Throughout the Month
NASHVILLE, TN – Anita Cochran received a message from the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals just hours after her powerful and emotional performance of her single “Fight Like A Girl” on Good Morning America on October 5. The Cardinals invited her to perform her power anthem “Fight Like A Girl” in Arizona for their halftime show raising awareness for the fight against breast cancer when the team takes on the Denver Broncos on this week’s highly-watched NFL Thursday Night Football matchup October 18. Cochran will also perform the national anthem before the game. Kickoff is at 8:20 PM ET on FOX.The song is striking a chord not only with women, men and music fans across the world who are fighting, or helping those fighting, not only breast cancer but many of life’s challenges. Shortly after her performance on Good Morning America “Fight Like A Girl” jumped to #14 on the iTunes chart. The song is available now at country radio.

Anita Cochran, an ACM and CMA nominated singer/songwriter has battled triple positive breast cancer since August 2017. Through her own charity, The Love Anchors Fund (managed by the Community Foundation of Tennessee), Cochran donated proceeds of “Fight Like A Girl” single sales to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for the following her performance on Good Morning America (October 5 – 12). Throughout the month of October, The Love Anchors Fund will donate to various other causes and charities.
Cochran continues to pay it forward bringing awareness and attention to the Fight against breast cancer with the following appearances and performances:
Location: Loveless Barn, Nashville, TN Cochran, the first female artist in the history of country music to write, produce, and play multiple instruments including lead guitar on her debut release, was at the top of her game and a big touring force across the United States when her world came to an abrupt halt when she was diagnosed and told she had triple positive breast cancer in August of 2017. Cochran, always a strong and giving woman in every aspect of her life, stood tall and began the fight of her life. She turned to her songwriting for strength and solace and the result is her latest single, “Fight Like A Girl.”The song has gone on to not only give herself courage and determination but has been a source of courage and inspiration to many women all over the world who have been facing the same challenge as well as others.
