Parade Magazine Exclusively Premieres the Title Track to Hefley’s Debut EP
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – As Parade Magazine proclaims, “If you’re looking for someone who really knows how to go for it, country artist Bailey Hefley is “So That Girl” (Parade.com / Laura Whitmore). The rave review comes as Hefley releases the title track to her forthcoming EP, available everywhere now.
Hefley co-penned “So That Girl” with Jamie O’Neal and Ava Suppelsa.
The rising country songstress will perform her new single on WSMV’s ‘Today in Nashville’ next Thursday, July 18. Additional upcoming performances include joining her producer and ACM award-winning Jamie O’Neal at 3rd and Lindsley for NASH FM’s Rhythm and Boots in Nashville on July 24 and returning to her home state of Arkansas to open up for country superstar Trace Adkins at the Bank OZK Arena on August 11.
On inspiration behind “So That Girl,” Hefley explains, “I was hanging out with some friends one night, and this guy in our friend group’s girlfriend kept calling him over and over making him step outside to talk and basically creating so much drama,” says Hefley on what inspired her new single. “I just thought, life is too short—find someone fun who appreciates you! So we wrote So That Girl.”
Previously Hefley released a thoughtful empowerment song with smart lyrics you can’t help but sing along to (Cowboys & Indians / Kristin Brown) with her single “Dust on a Diamond,” which she performed on legendary WSM-AM’s ‘Nashville Today.’
