Destined TV Debut Follows The Single Releasing To Country Radio
Exclusive 2017 American Music Awards Encore Available On Comcast’s Xfinity On Demand Sunday
Nashville, Tenn. – MULTI-PLATINUM world-class entertainers FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE made their destined debut on CBS’ The Late Late Show with James Corden last night (11/16), premiering their latest “Meant to Be” single released to Country radio. As featured on BEBE REXHA’s EP, All Your Fault: Pt. 2, it marked the first national TV performance of the genre-smashing track.
In case you missed it, watch Bebe Rexha and FGL introduce “Meant to Be” on CBS’ The Late Late Show with James Corden here.
Reminiscent of their “Wild West A Go-Go” music video set directed by Sophie Muller, FGL kicked it on barstools as Rexha joined in donning a red-plaid flannel shirt. Adding to the vibe, childhood photos danced on the screens behind them as they grooved along to the soulful rendition. PopCrush applauded the fated union as a “fantastic marriage between country and the pop sensibility that Rexha provides.”
Garnering 80 million plus streams globally, “Meant to Be” is currently #4 (and climbing) on the iTunes Top Songs chart and ranked in Spotify’s Global Top 50. FGL’s Tyler Hubbard penned the laid-back jam with Rexha, Josh Miller and David Garcia.
On Sunday (11/19), the five-time nominees – now vying for the fan-voted Favorite Duo or Group – Country – will take the stage at ABC’s 2017 American Music Awards with Hailee Steinfeld and Alesso on their fast-rising single “Let Me Go,” which features FGL and watt. Directly following the live broadcast (8 p.m. ET) from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater, FGL will reunite with Rexha exclusively for subscribers to Comcast’s Xfinity TV service.
