NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Acclaimed songwriter and producer Bernie Herms received two GRAMMY® nominations – Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Oh My Soul” recorded by Casting Crowns and Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for his work as producer of Danny Gokey’s hit album Rise. Herms’ stratospheric production and songwriting career includes highlights such as 30 #1s in the U.S. and many multinational #1 hits. He won a 2017 GRAMMY® for Hillary Scott’s “Thy Will” and was named the 2017 BMI Christian Songwriter of the Year.
