NASHVILLE – No Depression Magazine has released their list of the 10 Best Roots Music Records of 2018 (So Far) and Beth Nielsen Chapman’s much-acclaimed offering, Hearts of Glass shines on the list. The publication noted, “Chapman’s songs carry us through the moments when we’re most vulnerable in order to discover the resilience our bodies and souls and hearts call upon to survive and thrive.”
Chapman, a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and staple of the Nashville and UK Americana scenes, welcomes the news as she teaches one of her popular workshops at the Omega Institute in New York this week. “I am so thrilled with this not only because Hearts of Glass was recognized but also that my good friends, Mary Gauthier and Gretchen Peters, make the list. Having strong female singer/songwriters appreciated is priceless in my book!”
The powerful Hearts of Glass features 11 tracks with guest appearances by Rodney Crowell and Ruby Amanfu. It was recorded in Nashville and produced by Sam Ashworth.
Beth will be on tour in the Fall. www.BethNielsenChapman.com
