NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Multi-platinum super duo Big & Rich with special guests Cowboy Troy, Davie, Spencer Ludwig and ZZ Ward for their 12th season on the iconic ESPN stalwart “College GameDay Built by Home Depot” with the infectious, barn raising theme song “Comin’ To Your City.”  The show kicks-off Saturday, September 1 at 9:00 a.m. EST on ESPN in South Bend, Indiana as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish takes on the Michigan Wolverines.  The latest opening video was shot this spring at the Woods at Fontanel in Nashville, Tennessee.

Big & Rich has had the distinct honor of performing at several “College GameDays” throughout their 12-year run as the music that launches college football on ESPN.  “”Comin’ To Your City” is always a crowd pleaser at our live shows,” notes Big Kenny and John Rich.  “We have been honored to have one of our favorites stand the test of time as the theme song for one of America’s most popular shows.” The song is the title track on the award-winning duo’s second release and yielded a GRAMMY®, CMA, ACM, Billboard, and numerous honors and accolades.

“Comin’ To Your City” compliments the show’s theme so well.  As it features numerous cities throughout the U.S., “College GameDay” has visited 82 cities and 69 different schools since it left the studio to go on location in 1993. The pre-game show follows the season’s storylines as it determines its next stop.

The 10-time Emmy award-winning pregame show, in its 32nd year, features longest-tenured personality on College GameDay, Lee Corso who begins his 32nd season, having been with the show since it began in 1987.  Analyst Kirk Herbstreit enters his 23rd year while analysts Desmond Howard and David Pollack enter their 14th and eighth years, respectively. Rece Davis is back as host, his fourth season, and Maria Taylor as the reporter, having joined the program last season.

Tom Rinaldi, Gene Wojciechowski and Jen Lada all return as contributors and Chris “The Bear” Fallica will continue to add his statistical and analytic-based in-sights. Fallica’s first year on the show was 1996, the same as Herbstreit’s.
