Nashville, Tenn. – Blue Mariah Records is thrilled to announce the release of the Southern Cross (LP) from the Blue Mariah Band, available everywhere on June 5th, 2018.
The Southern Cross (LP) was recorded at Beaird Music Group, Inc located in Nashville, Tennessee (voted one of Nashville’s best recording studios by readers of Music Row Magazine, it is the premier Nashville recording studio). At post production, the Pro Tool session files were then handed off to Bryan Wayne Perry, the CEO of Perry Music Group, who teamed up with Steve Rutledge of The Groove House Recording Studio, located In Friendsville, Tennessee. The duo worked together to achieve the maximum performance out of the product that the Blue Mariah Band recorded in Nashville, giving the Southern Cross (LP) the Platinum Formulated mixes it deserved.
The (LP) is full of incredible songs by some super talented songwriters, like the late Wayne Perry who brought you hits by The Backstreet Boys, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Lorrie Morgan just to name a few. Also landing songs on the Blue Mariah debut (LP) is the very talented, Dennis Knutson, who wrote giant hits for Vern Gosdin, George Jones, Buck Owens, David Frizzell and many more. The (LP) has one original tune written by Mike Stipek, titled “Shady Lady”. The debut single from the Southern Cross (LP) is a Dennis Knutson, tune, titled, “Yankee Boy”.

The Blue Mariah band was founded by Cheryl Arnold, a Northwest native. Cheryl attended the University of Washington, majoring in Speech and Drama. She then attended Cornish College of the Arts studying Music and Music Theory. She toured with her beautiful and talented sister Teri Arnold, as The Arnold Sisters for five years with her mentor, the incomparable Miss Bonnie Guitar. While recording in Nashville she spent time with Chet Atkins. After 5 years with Bonnie Guitar, Cheryl struck out on her own and formed the Blue Mariah Band with her talented husband, Mike Stipek.
