Over Twenty Scholarships To Recipients in Nashville
NASHVILLE, TN. – On August 24, 2016 rising female artist Skye Claire (Mandolin Entertainment) and Sony Music Nashville recording artist CAM performed for the graduating class of the ninth annual Rising Through The Ranks seminar at a private dinner in Nashville, TN. The annual event, presented by The Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), in conjunction with Broadcast Music, Inc. ® (BMI) ®, and the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group (MIW), welcomed over twenty scholarship recipients from around the country to Music City.
The night was a highlight for the women in attendance. While enjoying the company of new friends, and radio colleagues, Claire performed her brand new single, “Pawn Shop,” which is impacting radio on September 15th.

The two-day seminar annually held at BMI Nashville’s offices, focuses on motivating women in the radio industry and provides them with the tools and management techniques to help them carry out their role to the best of their ability. The classes cover everything from hiring and firing to branding and problem solving. Specific topics include: Managing Multi-Generational Employees, The Role of Today’s Radio Manager and Building Your Personal Brand.
