National TV Show Spotlights Traditional Country Music
Along with the CMA of Texas Cowboy / Western Artist of the Year
NASHVILLE, TN — Traditional country music fans are in store for a treat this weekend, when Bobby Marquez guests on the popular RFD-TV show, The Penny Gilley Show. Bobby Marquez, who was just awarded the CMA of Texas Cowboy/Western Artist of the Year honor, will step into the spotlight with the beautiful and talented Penny Gilley to showcase some of his original honky tonk hits. The two stars will share some laughs and stories along the way. The episode will air nationally on RFD-TV at 2:30pm central time on Friday, November 17, 2017.

Marquez taped his appearance alongside legends Charley Pride and Randy Travis. The day was filled with a standing ovation for Bobby Marquez, plus Randy Travis sang a few words from his hit song, Forever and Ever Amen for the first time since his serious health issues. The entire season has been packed with amazing moments.
The Penny Gilley Show is filmed at Lil’ Red’s Longhorn Saloon in Fort Worth, Texas in the historic Stockyard’s District. The rustic atmosphere and large dance floor make a perfect backdrop for fans who are moved by the fiddles and steel guitar. Fans whoop and holler and dance along as the stars of the show share pure, traditional country music tunes.
