Alan’s self-penned single, “Love You The Same,” became the most downloaded song at Texas radio when it made its debut and it has steadily climbed and currently sits in the Top 35 on the Texas regional radio chart.
Alan after multiple live streaming performances across the state and with various national media partners including The Boot, Sounds Like Nashville and #CMChat, his single jumped 15 spots and is now sitting at #35 on the charts and is still climbing.
Last month, Alan contributed a #TXPlaylist to Texas Lifestyle Magazine explaining “the culture in music is like no other in the world”. He carefully crafted his playlist saying “artists of multiple genres have had a global impact with their music and ‘Local Texas Music’ is not a term that should be taken lightly. This playlist should shed some light on just what I mean when I say that.” Click HERE for Alan’s “Guide To Texas Music.”
The Texas singer/songwriter headlined the successful launch of the first charitable Texas-based Community Concert Series last month on Lake Marble Falls in Marble Falls, TX.
The innovative concert series helped to raise awareness and money for the local businesses across the state of Texas who have suffered and been devastated because of the current COVID-19 crisis. Alan will headline from a local Hampton Inn patio overlooking Lake Marble Falls. The community concert series ‘put a face with a name’ and give each business a chance to tell their story, and to help raise money for their out-of-work employees. From musicians, to waitresses, to therapists to flight instructors, many local jobs have been lost and businesses are hurting.
The Community Concert Series was inspired by Alan’s weekly Facebook Live performances he has been for his fans since his touring has paused, like many other artists, amid the COVID-19 health concerns. The Texas singer/songwriter’s music has carried across the lakes, attracted boaters and even fellow artists (like Jack Ingram who posted on Facebook the he was listening from across the lake). Alan’s lakeside concerts caught the ears and sparked the idea for the lakeside format to help the local community.
