NASHVILLE, Tenn. – EMI Records Nashville artist Brandon Lay cranks up the country nostalgia with a brand-new song, “Back Home,” out now. Putting small towns back on the map, the high-energy honky tonker sets the scene for when “love was sweet and life was good.” “Back Home” was written by Lay with Lynn Hutton, and produced by Jonathan Singleton.

“This song has always been a favorite for my band and me to play live,” shares Lay. “I hope fans relate to it, and enjoy listening to it as much as I did writing it. I’m excited to finally release it into the world!”
“Back Home” follows the July release of the smooth-driving power ballad “Broke.” Both tracks serve as a first look at a batch of new songs to come from Lay, hardwired to the fundamentals of his live show – part rock ‘n’ roll heat and part country heart.
Recently wrapping a string of shows supporting Jameson Rodgers on the COLD BEER CALLING MY NAME TOUR, Lay will hit the Midwest for a pair of tour stops in Omaha, NE (10/22) and McCook, NE (10/23).
