Chart-topping Singer/Songwriter Earns ACM New Male Vocalist Nomination
No. 1 Video on Vevo Country Chart
NASHVILLE, TN – Hot newcomer Brett Young has enjoyed an eventful month with the release of his self-titled debut album and first major tour as he heads out on superstar Luke Bryan’s KILL THE LIGHTS TOUR. The chart-topping Caliville crooner will join Bryan for eight dates beginning tonight, including a stop in New York City on March 1 for a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden.
“I am so excited to get out on the road with Luke and am beyond thankful for this amazing opportunity,” said Young. “He called me a few months ago when we found out I would be joining him on the road. He was so nice and offered some advice which meant a whole lot to me.”
Out February 10, Young’s self-titled album hit No. 1 on the iTunes Country Chart as well as No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. Rolling Stone Country touted the singer/songwriter “one of the breakout acts of 2016” and the music industry agreed, adding ACM Awards nominee to his list of accolades. Young will vie for New Male Vocalist of the Year presented by T-Mobile during the CBS broadcast on April 2, live from Las Vegas.
The momentum continues on the road this summer with Justin Moore and Lee Brice for the AMERICAN MADE TOUR before continuing on with Lady Antebellum’s YOU LOOK GOOD WORLD TOUR. Young will showcase songs from the album including his No. 1 hit “Sleep Without You” and current Top 40-and-rising “In Case You Didn’t Know.” The video for the new single is also No. 1 for the second week in a row on Vevo’s Top Country Chart.
