Singer/Songwriter to Partner with Hallmark and SiriusXM for Events
Self-Titled Album Available Everywhere February 10
NASHVILLE, TN – Heart-on-his-sleeve crooner Brett Young will embrace his self-titled debut album with a media blitz that includes his first national television appearance, performing on NBC’s TODAY this Thursday (2/9). During the Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford co-hosted 10A hour, the chart-topping singer/songwriter will perform his No. 1 hit “Sleep Without You.” He co-penned the song, which is featured on BRETT YOUNG, out February 10 and available for pre-order now.
Later that day in New York City, Brett will join Hallmark for their “Countdown to Valentine’s Day” with a special event at Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall. He will serenade crowds with his current single “In Case You Didn’t Know,” which is holding steady in the Top 10 on the iTunes Country Chart and has already peaked at No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway. Brett will play two 30-minute sets for fans and commuters alike at 12:00pm and again at 6pm.
Continuing the kickoff momentum, Brett will slow down a bit that night for a group of lucky SiriusXM subscribers at an intimate private show at Printers Alley in Midtown Manhattan. The performance will later air on SiriusXM’s The Highway Channel 56. The excitement around his album launch is at a fever pitch with Rolling Stone Country declaring Brett as “one of the breakout acts of 2016.”
“I cannot believe my album is almost out,” exclaimed Brett. “This has been a dream of mine since I would sing Tim McGraw’s ‘Don’t Take the Girl’ while in the car with my family growing up. It has been an incredible journey and I am so thankful to my super supportive fans for their encouragement along the way.”
Brett heads out on the road with Luke Bryan’s KILL THE LIGHTS TOUR with a date at Madison Square Garden on March 1. He will then link up with Justin Moore and Lee Brice’s AMERICAN MADE TOUR before opening for Lady Antebellum’s YOU LOOK GOOD WORLD TOUR throughout the summer, including sentimental stops in his native Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl and his current hometown at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to fully encompass his “Caliville” sound.
