Brickshore Media Announces Addition of Childhood Cancer Radio Station Hope Nation Radio

Brickshore Media, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Hope Nation Radio to its roster. This online station, which is dedicated to childhood cancer, is joining forces with Brickshore Media as they are gearing up for several prominent music events this year in the Nashville community. This station is joined alongside other Brickshore Media clients including Grammy-nominated hit singer/songwriter Brady Seals (Little Texas), Music City Pickers LIVE, Renegade Radio Nashville, Tony McKee, among others.

Formed in 2013 by Nile “Big Daddy” Peaytt and Thomas Hammonds, this station plays a variety of country music, pop, rock, contemporary, Christian and gospel from signed and independent artists. This is a station anyone can listen to, including the children in the hospital; whether it be for a lengthy stay or to help pass the time while getting treatments. What was inspired by a talk “Big Daddy” had with 11-year-old Savannah Swandal at her bed side just weeks before passing away, has now evolved into spreading hope, raising awareness and inspiring others to join the fight. “We wanted to connect with these kids from all over the country, bring smiles and inspire people to get involved in their community,” says ‘Big Daddy.’

As they inspire schools, communities, businesses and individuals to help raise awareness, the Nashville and country music community has opened their arms and hearts graciously to help spread the word. Last year, the State of Tennessee recognized Hope Nation Radio and declared September 1st as “Childhood Cancer Awareness Day” in the state. Mayor Megan Barry lit the Korean Veterans Bridge gold for the day and “Big Daddy” was recognized with a special commencement receiving the “Tennessee Ambassador of Goodwill,” signed by Governor Haslam.
Established artists and hit songwriters have already donated their time to this station by participating in house concerts and the station’s annual “Evening With The Hit Makers” in Nashville. The list of acts that participated keeps growing and has already included Amber’s Drive, Bucky Covington, Craig Wayne Boyd, Darrly Worley, Gary Chapman, Halfway To Hazard, Ira Dean, James Otto, Jason Michael Carroll, Jeff Bates, Jon Pardi, Lee Roy Parnell, Little Texas, LOCASH, Trent Tomlinson, Trick Pony, Ty Herndon, Restless Heart, Ronnie McDowell, Wade Hayes, SNL member Victoria Jackson, among others. The line-up for 2017’s event will be released soon along with a documentary which is currently in the works.
