Nashville, TN – Reigning ACM and CMA Vocal Duo of the Year Brothers Osborne, all-around entertainer Mac Davis and ACM and NSAI Song of the Year winner Natalie Hemby will take the stage at Nashville’s City Winery on February 28, 2018 to perform the very first and the very worst songs they ever wrote, in addition to their biggest hits, all in support of Music Health Alliance. “The First And The Worst,” now in its fourth year, is a one-of-a-kind event only Nashville can deliver as our greatest talents come together to showcase their silliest and most shameful songs, all while competing for the audience-voted “Crappy” trophy.
The event benefits Nashville non-profit Music Health Alliance, which provides free support to songwriters, artists, musicians and music industry professionals at every stage of their career to find affordable healthcare solutions and financial resources. Individual tickets are now on sale, priced at $50 for balcony seats at http://bit.ly/2Ahl6oi and $100 for floor seats at http://bit.ly/2hPGB83.
Two-time Grammy nominees Brothers Osborne (“Stay A Little Longer,” “It Ain’t My Fault”), actor, songwriter and ACM Entertainer of the Year winner Mac Davis (“In The Ghetto,” “A Little Less Conversation”) and award-winning songwriter and PUXICO singer Natalie Hemby (“Pontoon,” “Automatic”) will headline 2018’s “The First And The Worst.” Hosted by Grammy nominated producer/songwriter/music critic, Peter Cooper, this unique event allows the audience to peek inside the brilliant minds of hit songwriters long before they had ever written a chart-topper or had songs recorded by superstar artists, all for a worthy cause. Additional performers for 2018’s fourth annual event will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Proceeds from “The First And The Worst” ticket sales will benefit Music Health Alliance, the music industry’s non-profit healthcare advocate. Sponsor tables start at $1,000 and can be purchased by contacting Music Health Alliance’s Shelia Shipley Biddy at shelia@musichealthalliance.com
