NASHVILLE, TN. – Rising country artist Caitlin Quisenberry plays the part of a woman betrayed struggling to move past insecurities and forgive her partner’s indiscretions in her passionate new single “LOVE HER OUT OF MY HEAD.” The moving lyrics speak to the raw emotions of love, lust, self-doubt, and jealousy that comes with such deception. For “LOVE HER OUT OF MY HEAD,” Caitlin worked with GRAMMY Award winning producer Sal Oliveri (P!nk, Chris Stapleton) who masterfully created instrumentals with the space for her larger-than-life vocals to be front and center. “This song pulls at the deepest parts of my soul,” shares Caitlin. “Lust, love, insecurity, and jealousy- it’s mentally, emotionally, and physically so raw. It’s an invitation into a woman’s mind while we ride her emotional rollercoaster of betrayal. I wanted to put this out right before Halloween, because of the dark, seductive force entangled throughout the song. It’s a story with such a painful message; the passion effortlessly follows suit. This song proves that there is beauty in darkness and art can come from even the most painful of circumstances.”
In addition to the single, Caitlin has released an accompanying music video which she directed. Filmed at the Harpeth Hotel in Historic Franklin, TN, the video provides a deep emotional journey from inside the mind of a woman scorned. Heavy on performance, the video depicts Caitlin begging her man to show her how much he loves her and to assure her that the other woman was a mere mistake. She is haunted by images of them together, fighting in a competition that may not be a competition at all. The video ends with the questions of “Does she take him back? Do they work through the cheating and betrayal?” leaving the viewer to their own interpretations. Watch the video for “LOVE HER OUT OF MY HEAD” HERE.
