NASHVILLE, TN. – The disco country summer smash now has a music video to sing and dance along to! The song was produced by GRAMMY-nominated producer, Sal Oliveri, who proved his ability to masterfully cross genres when he nabbed a #1 with P!nk and Chris Stapleton. The music video was filmed in the eclectic hot pink House Of Adora, located in the trendy East Nashville neighborhood, giving Caitlin Quisenberry the perfect boogie backdrop. Los Angeles based film director and producer, Daniel Catton, flew in for the project and put together a local camera team to capture Caitlin’s sultry performance. Watch “Good On Me” music video HERE!
“Filming this music video was an absolute blast!” exclaims Caitlin. “I loved working with Daniel Catton, who also directed and produced my music video, “Get Loud With Me” in 2020. We really work well together and are both Pepperdine University alumni. I admire his film work, creativity, and the upbeat energy he brings. Filming this music video came so naturally because I sing and dance to it all over my house already. It even makes vacuuming fun (as you’ll see in the video)! Shooting this video was very empowering, as it allowed me to use my femininity to boldly state the lyrics, ‘you look good on me’, revealing I know myself and what I want. My actions exemplify the saying, ‘To be happy, you must be your own sunshine’. Happiness is an inside job, don’t expect anyone else to do that for you. My goal was to show how important it is to be comfortable in your own skin. You have all the power – to love yourself, celebrate yourself, and even create yourself – the “new you” looks “Good On You”. For me, this also represents the music business and being an independent artist. I have the power to create and I’m enjoying my own journey.”
Caitlin Quisenberry recently appeared on NBC News 4 “Today in Nashville” for an interview and performance of her release, “Last Day On Earth”, discussing the pairing of her song and the foundation, “Postpone Nothing”. She was also nominated “New Artist of the Year 2022” by Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards, where she was the only female nominated in that category. This nomination was prompted by a breakout year with CMT showcasing several of her singles, and Spotify placing her music on ten editorial playlists, which include: New Boots, Women of Country, Breakout Country, Next from Nashville, Country Wedding, Fresh Finds, New Music Nashville, Country Christmas, Country Covers and Spotify Stations. One of her latest singles, “Take Only What You Need”, is approaching 800,000 streams!
Caitlin was named “Nashville’s Newest Darling” by Hype Magazine and has received placements in American Songwriter, Country Note, Westword, and ThinkTankNashville. No stranger to the stage, Caitlin first started singing at age three. When she was 14, she recorded with multi-GRAMMY-winning producer Robert Cutarella and the following year found herself on American Idol, where she earned a Golden Ticket and was pushed through to Hollywood. While in college, Caitlin took her talents to the next level, studying in Switzerland with renowned opera singer Karine Mkrtchyan. The Colorado native, who now calls Nashville home, has teamed up with producers Sal Oliveri (#1 with P!nk and Chris Stapleton), Ben Simonetti (#1 with Zac Brown Band) and Jason Wyatt (Top-40 producer, writer, and artist) to create music that speaks to everyday life and interpersonal relationships that are easily relatable.
