Carly Pearce Celebrates 50th Grand Ole Opry® Performance

Breakthrough Artist Honors Country Music Legacy with Heartbreak Ballads & Sassy Tunes

NASHVILLE, TN – She may have made her CMA Fest Nissan Stadium and CMT Music Awards debuts last week, but last night, CARLY PEARCE humbly walked onto one of the most revered stages in Country Music – the Grand Ole Opry®. Marking the 50th time since she stepped into the famed circle on May 30, 2015, Opry member Jeannie Seely and 650 WSM host Bill Cody proudly introduced the budding superstar. The momentous occasion was not lost on Carly, who gleefully told the crowd she held such a special place in her heart for the Opry and would still be as just excited to sing here for the next fifty years.

“I love Country music and Country music fans more than anything and the Grand Ole Opry will always be the most precious thing to me,” expressed Carly.

The Kentucky native kicked off her set with heart-crushing ballad “If My Name Was Whiskey” before launching into her history-making No. 1 “Every Little Thing” and capping the celebration off with her high-spirited single “Hide The Wine.” Filled with gratitude, Carly’s sound has always honored the legendary voices before her and those she too hopes to guide along their way.

As a loyal advocate of the Opry, often asking to play on rare nights at home in Nashville, it was no surprise General Manager Sally Williams and mentor Seely were beaming side-stage. Her parents, friends, Big Machine Records family and management joined with cake, flowers and gifts in hand.

Carly’s dedication to the genre and her fans remains as strong today as when she convinced her parents to let her move to Dollywood at just 16 years old to pursue her dream. Carly is dominating 2018 and just in the last month took home CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year, was featured in the Billboard Country Power Players issue and Rolling Stone Country touted her as “Best Ready for the Big Time” while The Tennessean reminded us all the power of female friendships.

Mere days before heading out with Opry members Rascal Flatts on their BACK TO US TOUR, Carly joined and the group and other special guests Dan + Shay for the lineup, surprising attendees alongside The Gatlin Brothers for a rendition of “All the Gold In California.” The crew continues their summer trek tonight in Alpharetta, GA then on to Charlotte, NC (6/15) and Raleigh, NC (6/17) before Carly jets to the Radio Disney Music Awards on June 22 where she is nominated for The Freshest! – Radio Disney Country Best New Artist.
