Special Bluebird Cafe Show to Benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Nashville, Tennessee – Team BIG 98, co-led by WSIX-FM midday personality Amy Paige, has generated almost $650,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through a variety of fundraising events. The latest effort for the team is “The Chapter Series Featuring Kristian Bush & Friends for St. Jude,” a special concert set for Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Nashville’s famed Bluebird Cafe.
“I knew how much Kristian loved St. Jude, and when I heard Bluebird Cafe GM Erika Wollam Nichols visited the hospital and fell in love like the rest of us, we came up with this crazy idea to get him to gather some artist and writer friends for this fun event,” said Paige.
In addition to Bush, Hunter Hayes, roots rock sister duo Larkin Poe and The BIG 98’s syndicated morning show host Bobby Bones are scheduled to perform.
Amy Paige’s passion for St. Jude and the event led Marion Kraft and ShopKeeper Management to come on board as a sponsor, and a unique poster will be designed specifically for the event. Several exclusive items will available through live auction the night of the concert.
Reservations for The Chapter Series Featuring Kristian Bush & Friends will be $50.00 for General seating, and a very limited number of Gold Circle seats will be available for $100.00. All reservations will be pre-paid in advance at www.bluebirdcafe.com beginning Friday, February 9, 2018 at 8 a.m. CT.
Team BIG 98 was co-founded by Amy Paige six years ago at iHeartRadio’s WSIX in Nashville, which is consistently one of the top Country Cares for St. Jude Kids fundraising radio stations in the nation. The initial efforts were focused on encouraging listeners to become St. Jude Heroes, runners who fundraise for St. Jude while training for various St. Jude races. Events now include the popular Songs & Stories Concert, a songwriter event leading up to the St. Jude Rock ‘n’ Roll Nashville Marathon & ½ Marathon.
“There’s a world of hope, love and cures that exists because of people like us,” said Paige, who will lead a team of “Heroes” running in the St. Jude Rock ‘n’ Roll Nashville Half Marathon in April. “Be part of their world and cheer us on with a $20 donation. The only thing a parent should worry about is helping their child live, and they will never see a bill from St. Jude because of our supporters.” Support Amy Paige at Heroes.StJude.org/AmyPaigeRuns
