Second Opry Shows Added for select March and April Dates
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Legendary country superstar Charlie Daniels will celebrate his 10th Anniversary as a Grand Ole Opry member with appearances on two Opry shows Tuesday, March 27 at the Grand Ole Opry House. Daniels was inducted into the Opry family in 2008 by his longtime friends and Opry members Marty Stuart and Connie Smith.
On his induction night 10 years ago, Daniels proclaimed, “My Bible tells me God gives us the desires of our hearts, and tonight the promise has come true.” The Opry member then invited Stuart, Smith, Montgomery Gentry and Trace Adkins to join him on stage to perform the iconic “Will The Circle Be Unbroken.”
Among those scheduled to be on hand to celebrate with Daniels are fellow Opry members Adkins, Terri Clark and Lorrie Morgan.
Two weeks before Daniels’ 10th Anniversary Opry celebration, Storme Warren will host Charlie Daniels’ signature all-star concert event Volunteer Jam. Volunteer Jam XX: A Tribute To Charlie will be held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at 7 PM CT. A portion of the proceeds from 2018’s Volunteer Jam will be donated to The Journey Home Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit co-founded by Daniels and manager David Corlew to help Veterans.
In addition to a second show on March 27, the Opry has today also added second shows on March 10, March 24, and April 21 to its spring show schedule.
