“For Her” And GIRL PROBLEMS Soar After Romantically-Charged Performance
Rising Star To Embark On Florida Georgia Line’s DIG YOUR ROOTS TOUR This Week
Nashville, Tenn. – Big Loud Records hitmaker Chris Lane watched his new single “For Her” and his debut album GIRL PROBLEMS race for the top of the iTunes charts Monday night (1/23), immediately following a special appearance on ABC’s reality romance series The Bachelor.
“For Her” has now reached #1 on the iTunes Top Country Songs chart, and GIRL PROBLEMS sits proudly at #2 on the Top Country Albums list. New fans are rushing to check out the high-flying singer who serenaded The Bachelor star Nick Viall and contestant Danielle L. during a romantic one-on-one date in Viall’s hometown of Waukesha, Wisconsin.
A self-described “diehard fan” of the long-running show, Lane’s intimate performance of the devoted “For Her” – delivered as his special guests slow-danced in the middle of a packed theater – was the perfect tune for the moment, a hearts-on-fire confession of just how far a man will go for true love.
Co-written by Matt Dragstrem, Kelly Archer and Sarah Buxton, “For Her” follows the #1, GOLD-certified hit “Fix” and once again pairs the newcomer’s breathtaking falsetto vocals with a R&B-meets-country feel. It’s the second single from his debut album GIRL PROBLEMS, which landed inside the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart upon its August 5th release.
Starting Friday (1/27), Lane will take his breakout success on the road, kickstarting Florida Georgia Line’s colossal DIG YOUR ROOTS TOUR as the featured opening artist. The nationwide trek begins in Tallahassee, Florida, with over 30 dates scheduled through early May. Lane and FGL will be joined by Dustin Lynch, along with Ryan Follese, Morgan Wallen and Seth Ennis on select stops.
Nick Viall, runner-up on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s and Andi Dorfman’s seasons of The Bachelorette and a fan-favorite on Bachelor In Paradise, is taking one more chance at finding his true love. The 36-year-old entrepreneur from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is ready to put his heartbreak behind him and move forward on an international journey that he hopes will lead him to the woman he will spend the rest of his life with. Now that Nick is handing out the roses, will he finally find the love that he has been longing for? Follow Nick’s search for “the one” on the hit romance reality series The Bachelor, Mondays (8:00 – 10:01 p.m., ET/PT) on ABC.
