Nashville, Tenn. — Today Christmas 4 Kids (C4K) announced supporting talent for its Phil Vassar & Friends virtual concert, set for Monday, November 23 at 7:00 p.m. / CT. Old Dominion‘s Matt Ramsey, STYX‘s Tommy Shaw, Lonestar, Craig Morgan, Jeffrey Steele, David Lee Murphy, Terri Clark, David Nail, Billy Dean, Abby Anderson and Lexie Hayden are set to join Vassar during the live online event.
“While we hate that we’re not able to have our annual Ryman Concert, we are so very thankful for Phil Vassar and these talented artists who are willing to take their time to help provide a great Christmas for 400 kids,” says C4K president Linda O’Connell. “It’s been a challenging year, but with the help and support of our local community, we’ll be putting smiles on kids’ faces. What could be better?”
Online tickets are $25.00 each and can be purchased at philvassar.com. Virtual concertgoers can also opt to Sponsor A Child for $175.00. This package includes an online ticket as well as a virtual meet and greet with Vassar.
“Giving is even more important this year since our fundraising outlets have been limited,” adds O’Connell. “We hope that you will join us online this Monday evening!”
Due to current social distancing restrictions, the shopping spree will be done a little differently this year. Each child will still receive the $150.00 shopping spree, but the kids will provide “wish lists” to volunteers who will personally shop for them at the Hendersonville Walmart on December 7-8. The Christmas gifts will then be delivered to the children at their appropriate schools on December 15.
