Los Angeles, CA – Country singer/songwriter Christy P Klotz has released her brand new single, “Jesus Callin,” the first release from her new EP available on all major music platforms.
“Jesus Callin” was written solely by Christy, after her grandma passed away. The song is a nostalgic, sweet reflection on one person’s very meaningful life. It was produced by Corretta’s founder, Jordan Seah. The song takes you on a journey as it tells the story of a little girl grown old, contemplating what the great hereafter may hold.
I’m so excited to release “Jesus Callin”. Though this song is about my grandma, it’s really about all of us. Eventually we all reach the end of our time here on earth. We’re faced with some beautiful reflections, and some tough questions. It’s called “Jesus Callin” because my gma (as I called her) had that book worn out by her bedside the night she passed away. We’ve always been very connected, and I could feel the hope and fear in her eyes as she was getting older. This song wrestles with not fully knowing what lies ahead of us, but trusting that those we have loved deeply are in a place better than anyone has yet imagined.
I hope it connects with you. Love y’all.
