Nashville, Tenn. – The official music video for Clark Hill’s single, “Perfect To Me,” which features Hill’s wife, Samantha, is now available to view exclusively via Celeb Secrets Country.

Directed by Jacob Long, the music video provides an inside perspective of Hill’s marriage to his wife, a professional detective, as he expresses his admiration for her just the way she is.

“It would be an understatement to describe the making of this video as simply rewarding,” said Hill. “My wife and I had the extreme pleasure to capture and share our relationship on screen; while it’s a familiar concept, it’s from our perspective. Hopefully it touches others as much as living and creating it has me. Maybe I won’t be the only one shedding a tear at the end.”

A self-proclaimed hopeless romantic, the tear that trickles down Hill’s cheek at the end of the music video was spur-of-the-moment.

“We were finally filming the last scene after a long 14 hours and Samantha whispered, ‘I’m so proud of you,’” recalls Hill.

“Perfect To Me” is the first single from Hill’s forthcoming debut album, People Like Me, expected for release later this year and was co-written by the GRAMMY-nominated artist Chris Young and esteemed songwriter/musician Mike Rogers.

In June, Digital Journal gave “Prefect To Me” an A letter grade stating, “a delicate vocal performance that really tugs at the heart. Hill’s rich, baritone vocals are reminiscent of country singer

The track came into fruition while Young and Craig Morgan were providing entertainment overseas for the United Service Organization when a wounded warrior by the name of Joe Bowser approached. (Bowser decided to have his right leg amputated in 2004 after a 122 mm rocket that landed on base lodged a piece of shrapnel in his lower calf/heel.) While in Iraq, Young and Rogers were talking about potential material for a song; Young had the chord progression, but no lyrics. That’s when Bowser suggested a topic inspired by his wife, Michele.
