New Instant-Grat Track, “I Just Wanna Hold You,” Now Available
Special Pre-Order/Save Contest To Win Upcoming CD
And Autographed Atwood Cowboy Hat
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Show Dog Nashville recording artist Clay Walker continues to build momentum toward a July 30 comeback album release with the July 16 debut of instant-grat track “I Just Wanna Hold You.”
The track is being made available in advance of the release of Texas To Tennessee, Walker’s first album for the label, which was co-produced by Michael Knox (Jason Aldean) and acclaimed songwriter Jaron Boyer.
Four songs are now available from the upcoming album: “Need A Bar Sometimes,” “You Look Good,” the album’s title track, and today’s release “I Just Wanna Hold You.”
Fans who pre-order/save Texas To Tennessee through a special contest page, are entered to win the CD and an autographed Atwood Cowboy Hat. The contest is live through release day – July 30.
Taste of Country has called the new music “as timely and relevant as anything he cut in the early ’00s” and referred to Walker as “a serious country storyteller who attracts the best songs from Music Row.”
Meanwhile, the joyous resumption of live concerts found Walker performing a sold-out Houston-area homecoming show last week, the first country show in 15 months at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, as well as co-headlining with Tracy Lawrence for a weekend of maximum capacity crowds earlier this summer. “Returning to the stage for the first time in a year was like a balm for the soul!!” Walker said.
