Alyssa Bonagura Shares her “Rebel” Spirit with Fans in the Release of New Music Video on CMT
Songwriting siren Alyssa Bonagura is showing off her soulful sounds with the release of her brand new music video for her song “Rebel” on CMT Music. You can watch the exclusive premiere online here.
The video was directed by Dallas Wilson and was shot in her hometown of Franklin, Tenn. “Rebel” is off of the singer-songwriter’s highly anticipated album, Road Less Traveled, which showcases Alyssa as a solo artist in her truest form to date and shares the journey of her finding her own voice while paving her own path as an independent country artist. The album draws heavy influences from Sheryl Crow and Joni Mitchell; it will be released exclusively on iTunes and Apple Music Friday, Sept. 23 and is available for pre-order now.

This daughter of country music (her parents being RCA country recording artists, Baillie & The Boys) has already been named “A fixture on Nashville’s Indie singer-songwriter scene” by Rolling Stone while the Bee Gees’ Robin Gibb said she is “Stunning, Original, A future star in the making.”
Alyssa has evolved into a songwriting seamstress for a number of artists including Steven Tyler (“I Make My Own Sunshine”), Jessie James Decker (“Lights Down Low”) and Jana Kramer (“Circles”). The six-stringed songstress now looks forward to taking her fans on a solo journey with music that she, and the industry, fully believes in.
