Denver native Buckstein returns to the stage this summer with a statewide offering of concerts as he preps the release of his forthcoming album. Kicking off on June 30 in Greenwood Village at Live! At the Lake, the first leg of the concert series has him taking stages in Winter Park, Denver, Aurora, Castle Rock, Wheat Ridge and Fort Morgan before wrapping in Grand Lake at Buffalo Days.
“Just a few months ago I wasn’t sure when I’d ever get to play live again,” says Buckstein. “I am excited to get back out and hit some of my favorite stages with new music this year. I see the crowds coming back and all I want to do is dive into the middle of them (don’t try this at home; I’m a trained professional). From Grand Lake to great rodeos and everything in between, my band and I have a newfound passion for the stage, and we’ve got some new tricks up our sleeves. The new project was hard to make as it is the culmination of what I consider to be my truest artistic journey. It started with a song that lit a fire for my creative outlets that led to a producer who helped me discover what I was really made of on this EP. We’ll be premiering the new project in its entirety at our July 9 show at the Soiled Dove Underground. I look forward to reconnecting with my fans and making new ones on the road this summer.”

Buckstein made his national debut as a contestant on American Idol on the hit show’s 5th season. After singing in the homes of over 200 million viewers worldwide on the season’s finale, he headed home to Denver with a new-found passion for music. Since then, he has built a grassroots following with his band, “The Heard” opening up for Charlie Daniels, Kane Brown, Kip Moore, Dustin Lynch, Old Dominion, Eli Young Band, Midland, Mark Chesnutt, Clay Walker, Aaron Watson, Vanilla Ice and many more. Across his home state, fans will recognize Buckstein as the vocalist behind the regional hit The Grizzly Rose, paying homage to the iconic Denver venue. He also was a regular on the listener favorite “Write A Song Wednesday” segment at Denver’s KYGO-FM.
“To command a stage the way Buckstein does speaks huge volumes for his level of talent. There is something very magnetic between Buckstein and his audience that you see immediately and it lasts through the entire show. This guy is a true entertainer!” – Tracy Dixon, Former KYGO-FM Denver Morning Show
Fans can expect the lead single release from his EP in early June with the full EP slated for a July release.
