“What a sad day this has been. T-Roy, I just can’t put the thoughts together right now. I hurt for your precious family. I will pray for them and check in on them. I will miss you and that big ole smile. I’m coming to that place when I leave here. I can’t wait to see you again.”
-Darryl Worley

“I remember so many times playing shows with Montgomery Gentry, and me and Troy in the corner talking huntin’ and fishin’. What a brother.”
-Aaron Tippin

“I didn’t know Troy very well, but he was always nice to me. He always told me how much he loved ‘That Sweet Gatlin Boys Harmony.’ He sang some pretty sweet harmony with Eddie too. My heartfelt condolences to Troy’s family, friends, and fans.”

“Restless Heart shared the stage with Montgomery Gentry just a few weeks ago in Kansas City. We visited with Troy. Talked about his family. Such a great guy and what a show Montgomery Gentry put on every night. We’ve lost a tremendous representative of country music and a good friend. Prayers go out to Eddie and all the MG family.”
-Larry Stewart, Restless Heart

“Restless Heart sends our sincerest condolences to the family of Troy Gentry. It’s terribly tragic to have lost this iconic country music superstar in the prime of his life. We performed with Troy and Eddie just a few weeks ago, and as we stood at the side of the stage to watch them perform for an adoring crowd, it was apparent that he was at the top of his game, doing what he was born to do. He will be missed.”
-Dave Innis, Restless Heart
