NPR’s Prestigious “First Listen” Showcases New Album

NASHVILLE, TN – Iconic Country tenor Ronnie Dunn released TATTOOED HEART (Big Machine Label Group) yesterday, available here. The new album, which debuts at No. 1 on the iTunes Country chart, was primarily produced by Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus and “…shows one of the top artists of our time at full use of his musical powers…” (Sounds Like Nashville). Dunn co-wrote 2 of the 12 tracks, highlighting familiar vocals from some of his most respected musical friends. Kix Brooks provides harmonies on Dunn’s current single “Damn Drunk” and “Still Feels Like Mexico” features Superstar Reba McEntire.

TATTOOED HEART is featured as one of NPR’s prestigious “First Listen” albums and fans were able to listen a week before release. NPR said of the album, “You can hear Dunn striking a reflective posture toward country’s generational shifts, too, and carving out a satisfying new role for himself.”
