Futuristic Traditionalist & Visionary Collaborates With Army Veteran
To Produce Patriotic Track As Newcomer’s Nashville Recording Debut
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Country music producer and recording artist, Kolt Barber (Maverick Management/ Barbed Wire Entertainment), has teamed with singer/songwriter Jenny Miller to produce the Army Veteran’s first Nashville recording. Barber, Maverick Management spearhead and the creator of The American Cowboy Showdown, has established himself in the industry as an American country music traditionalist and producer who brings an evocative yet contemporary flare to the format’s heritage.
“Working with Kolt was seamless. Even under quickened timeline, he took the time to really listen to what I had visualized for the track—instrumentally—and he pushed me vocally. The experience was epic,” said Jenny Miller. “The track has simple, sentimental touches and big builds. It was nice to work with a producer who ‘got’ me and saw my vision.”
“It’s always exciting to work with new, up and coming talent to see them develop and become the performing artist that they strive to be,” added music producer, Kolt Barber. “Jenny works hard in the studio and knows exactly what she wants.”
Working alongside, Barber and Miller recorded her original tune, titled “God and Country,” at Square One Studio in Franklin, TN. The track is slated for a November 13, 2020 debut, in recognition of Veterans Day, via all major digital retail and streaming outlets (Amazon/Apple/Pandora/Spotify/
