The country music community will hold a moment of silence in honor of those lost and affected by the Route 91 Tragedy that happened one year ago in Las Vegas this Monday (10/1).
An announcement posted by Country Aircheck states: “A country music-wide “moment of silence” will be observed on the one-year anniversary of the Route 91 tragedy, Monday, October 1 at 10:05am PT/12:05pm CT/1:05pm ET. All radio in the state of Nevada, Country radio nationwide, record labels, publishers, agencies, organizations and more will stop for a moment, a minute or 58 seconds to remember those lost and all who were affected. ”
Everyone connected to country music is encouraged to spread the word and participate.
