Country Newcomer Mags Set To Debut New Single “Strong Enough”

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  – Mags McCarthy (Mags), a newcomer to Music City, Nashville and a fresh new face in the American country music scene, is set to make her official US debut with the release her new single, Strong Enough.* The track, slated to impact country radio on June 11, 2018, comes as an early preview to Mags’ forthcoming CD (ALL WAYS MAGS) anticipated in early August 2018.

The musical composition and production is quick to reveal Mags’ spunky Irish character while the no-nonsense storyline portrays her vivacious, independent spirit and tenacity. Popping with electricity adrenalized by drums, and spotlighting Mags’ violin performance, the admission to a no-win situation quickly translates the straightforward perspective that a hopeful future has quickly become the past.

“While I’m a romantic at heart, there is so much that I love about this song,” introduced the fiery redhead, Mags“It conveys a sense of honesty that love comes and goes, and parallels love to a poker game. My favorite line is ‘you took my time but not my heart’ which sums up the sentiment that if it’s not meant to be, let’s not waste any more time; let’s move on and, oh, there’s the EXIT sign.”

I could hope for better times
Close my eyes to all the signs
But I’m not wishing anymore
This thing is over – and I’m sure
So live your life and just be free
Cause that’s the way it’s got to be
I’m not about to fall apart
You took my time but not my heart
