“Little Bit of Us” Singer Takes His Place on Top Current Country Albums, Top New Artist Albums Charts
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country-southern rock artist Mike Smith made his Billboard debut in a big way this week – landing at #67 on the Top Current Country Albums chart and #47 on the Top New Artist Albums chart with new album Always You and Me, released earlier this month.
The album follows Smith’s debut single release, self-penned Little Bit of Us, which shipped to country radio in April.
A talented multi-instrumentalist and television personality, Smith recently launched One Shot, a Hip Hop talent competition airing on BET, of which he’s owner, executive producer and stars as one of the main judges on the show. As a writer, Smith has co-written and recorded with The Avila Brothers and DMC (Run DMC), along with members of Guns N’ Roses and Dave Matthews Band, Chris Webby and more. Smith also owns and operates three labels – SMH Entertainment, EMS Records and Razor Sharp Records (partnered with RZA of Wu Tang Clan).
