NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Listening Room Cafe became a little more outdoorsy on Tuesday night when Country Outdoors debuted their new monthly writers round concert series. Knocking it out of the park for the opening night with Drake White, Meghan Patrick, Dillon Carmichael and Faren Rachels the room was filled with good vibes, some tears and a whole lot of inspiration. The stage was even decorated to feel like you were in the wilderness sitting ‘round a campfire with your friends.
“This has been a dream of mine, to put on a show like this, since I moved to Nashville. Funny enough, Drake White actually encouraged me to make the move here and chase my hosting dreams when I met him in Australia five years ago. It’s all come full circle. I’m excited and honored to be working with some fantastic artists to provide them with a platform to share their music and stories from their outdoor experiences. Whether you surf, fish, hunt or garden, we are all connected through the outdoors and music and I want this show to celebrate that!” said host Mary O’Neill Phillips.

It wasn’t just a great night for music, the audience were treated to several prizes from sponsors Twisted X Boots and Wilson’s Taxidermy! Other sponsors for the night included Camping World, Mossy Oak and Nomad Outdoor.
The Country Outdoors Writers Round will be held once a month throughout 2020 with special precautions being made to ensure proper social distancing for artists and guests as well as complying with all state and local requirements for events during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
