Nashville, Tenn. — Country singer-songwriter, Corey Layne, will make his national television debut on the popular RFD-TV Network series, Larry’s Country Diner, on March 10 at 8:00 PM ET. The show will re-air on March 12 at 11:00 PM ET.
Producer and show host, Larry Black, has this to say about Layne: “Corey brought great songs with a country soul. Don’t let the looks fool you, he is country to core plus he writes new music from that same soul. You will enjoy!”
Layne will perform several of his most popular and passionate original songs on the episode, including “Excuse Me,” Real as The Rain” and “Let’s Take Tonight.” The latter two tracks boast combined streams of over a million plays apiece across all digital platforms.
Layne also graces the March cover of Country Reunion Magazine, a monthly publication which showcases artists from Larry’s Country Diner and related country music topics.
Layne’s powerful signature style of singing is the hallmark of an artist who has lived life to the fullest and lived to tell the tales. While traveling to promote his first album several years ago, he hit rock bottom after a near-death experience. He states, “This was the lowest point of my life until recently when I contracted COVID 19, was hospitalized, and was told that I would not survive it. Though I had a strong faith, it made me question everything. What gave me solace was believing there had to be a purpose in life for God to have given me this talent and the belief that I had something to offer country music fans. As it turns out, it was music that proved to be the most healing medicine of all.”
Layne recently released the haunting and emotionally powerful ballad, “Searchlight.” It is the first single from his new album, ‘Bend, or Break’ which is available to order at his website.
