Nashville, Tennessee – January 30, 2025) Country Radio Seminar (CRS) is thrilled to unveil details of the upcoming CRS Honors, a special event celebrating the achievements, legacy, and future of country radio. Scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, at 2:00 p.m., this highly anticipated ceremony will bring together members of the country music and radio communities for an unforgettable afternoon of tributes, recognition, and powerful performances.
This year’s CRS Honors will feature multi-platinum, award-winning artist Megan Moroney and ACM Award winner Tigirlily Gold, delivering poignant performances. Tigirlily Gold will open the ceremony with their stirring rendition of the national anthem, while Megan Moroney will take center stage during the emotional “In Memoriam” segment to honor the lives and legacies of those the country music and radio community have lost over the past year.
The event will also recognize outstanding talent and dedication within the industry. Four prestigious scholarships will be awarded: the Rusty Walker Scholarship, the Lisa McKay Women in Radio Scholarship, the Futuri Scholarship, and the Mentoring and Inspiring Women Scholarship. These awards spotlight individuals who have demonstrated remarkable potential and a commitment to shaping the future of country radio.
In addition, CRS Honors will spotlight the vital work of the Broadcasters Foundation of America, recognizing the organization’s mission to provide critical support and aid to broadcasters in need. This acknowledgment reflects the country radio community’s ongoing commitment to compassion and resilience.
The ceremony will conclude with the highly anticipated announcement of the Country Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2025. This year’s inductees represent the pinnacle of achievement in country radio, celebrating their lasting contributions and influence on the industry.
CRB Executive Director RJ Curtis and CRB Board President Kurt Johnson will co-host the 2025 CRS Honors.
