Nashville, TN – Country-pop rising star Crystal McGrath releases new single “Back To Never.” The single is now available on all digital streaming platforms.
Crystal McGrath has written another smashingly great country song, “Back To Never”. Toxicity in relationships is never a good thing, even if that person happens to be your soulmate. Throughout the song, Crystal remembers all the bad times as the opportunity to reconnect with this person has made itself known. When a full bed suddenly grows empty, you can start to miss the other person and “lonely minds think alike in the dead of night.” One thing leads to another and your mind starts to wonder what would happen if you got back together. In this instance, she is trying to avoid “two lost hearts going back to breaking”.
With the driving drum beat and guitar partnering right along with it, it gives the song the feeling that Crystal’s heart is breaking, having to tell this person they can’t be together to prevent future heartbreak again. Based on how she knows that things will go back and forth as expressed in her lyrics, she does not want to put herself in that toxic situation. Sometimes when you crave something, it is worth the damage it can cause.
